This building is to be a film production studio that offers all the elements necessary for developing and finishing a film - the editors, writers, and even actors or directors working. This would be because, while the executives and producers would use the office suites, the building would contain film sets, recording studios, and editing rooms. This is to accomplish the goal of being able to produce the entirety of a film with all the necessary resources under one roof.

Due to the proposed programs of the CRAIVE labs, the restaurants, and theaters, there will be an intersection between the public of Albany, NY, and the private film companies that may be occupying the building. These intersections could be an advantage to the companies as it will allow them to advertise themselves to the public, as well as use the public facilities to show case their productions. The CRAIVE and CIR spaces could also be useful for more interactive films as well as research for movie production that involves set blocking, sound editing, or special effects when it is not being used as a public showcase space.

The installation of a film studio in Albany, NY would allow for more creatives to have access to resources, as well as give the public a new introduction to the timeless activity of watching film.
